Marketing Student at the University of Central Florida • Professional Selling Program Member • Ambassador to the Dean
My mission is to make the most of every educational and professional opportunity I pursue. I will represent myself and The Professional Selling Program with integrity and professionalism. Every day, I will work to strengthen my skills, build meaningful relationships, and approach every interaction as a chance to learn. I will develop a strong foundation that will allow me to grow and create value throughout my career.
Why Sales?
I've always had a natural fascination with people: what grabs their attention, what motivates them, and how meaningful relationships are built. Studying marketing has allowed me to explore consumer behavior and branding. Sales allows me to apply those principles through real interactions and human connection.
Sales is more than just selling a product or service. It is the ability to communicate ideas, solve problems, build trust, and create value for the customer. These skills are crucial in almost every industry.
I am working to build a career centered around creativity, branding, and storytelling, so strong sales skills are essential for me. Whether presenting a creative concept, collaborating with clients, or leading projects, my success will boil down to my understanding of people and communicating ideas that inspire confidence within them.
The Professional Selling Program gives me the opportunity to develop and refine my abilities in a challenging and relationship-driven environment.
UCF's Professional Selling Program
The Professional Selling Track is a prestigious, cohort-style program offered by the University of Central Florida's Marketing Department. It is one of only 120 sales-focused undergraduate programs in the United States, accepting no more than 35 students a year.
Over the course of two semesters, students are exposed to current sales practices and training to prepare them for a sales career in fields such as consumer goods, medical supplies, technology, advertising, and more. The curriculum includes extensive role-play exercises, a mentorship program, and a focus on sales force management, strategic issues in sales, and advanced professional selling.
